CLOSING STATEMENT: JANUARY 25, 2012
PLEASE READ:
Sometimes all it takes is one bad year. Other times, it's one bad month.
2012 has not been auspicious thus far. Due to an unbelieveable chain of accidents
and events beyond my control, financial issues and stress have made it impossible
for me to continue running Wastelands.
I regret this deeply, but for the sake of my household, my sanity, and my
savings accounts, I must step down as the head of Wastelands LLC, and the chief
GM.
We had a good run, we had top notch players, and we proved that it was possible
to safely run and participate in an airsoft-utilizing boffer LARP. These are
not small things, and I will always be grateful to those folks who took a chance
and came to play. You folks rocked, and I wish you well in future LARPs. I'll
see you down the road once things settle a bit.
